Healthy Oatmeal

Serves: 2

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 banana, sliced
  • 15 raspberries
  • 5 strawberries, sliced
  • 3 tbs shelled hemp seeds (10 g of protein)
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon (optional)
  • pinch of salt

Directions:

  1. Bring 1 cup of water to a boil & add a pinch of salt.
  2. Add oatmeal and simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. Add to a bowl and top with fruit and hemp seeds.
  4. Enjoy!

Variations & Notes:

  • For apple cinnamon oatmeal… add 1 diced red apple and 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce to the oatmeal, and reduce the water by half.
