Yield: 2 cups
Ingredients:
- 1 cup tomato paste
- 1/2 cup vegetable broth
- 3 tbs maple syrup
- 3 tbs molasses
- 4 tsp apple cider vinegar
- 2 tsp liquid smoke
- 2 tsp chili powder
- 1 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1 tsp garlic powder
Directions:
- Place all ingredients in a bowl or small food processor and mix until smooth.
Variations & Notes:
- To increase spice, add more chili powder (1/4 tsp at a time).
- To increase sweetness, add more maple syrup (1/2 tsp at a time).
- To increase tanginess, add more vinegar (1/4 tsp at a time).
