Ingredients:
- 2 cups coconut water
- 2 tbs almond butter or peanut butter
- 4 dates, pitted, or 1 tbs blackstrap molasses
- 1 tbs unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1″ piece fresh ginger, peeled
- 1″ piece fresh turmeric, peeled, (or 1/8-1/4 tsp dried turmeric)
- 1 cup ice
Directions:
- Place all ingredients in a high-powered blender and blend on high speed for 1-2 minutes, until smooth.
Variations & Notes:
- If you prefer a thicker consistency, add in 1 frozen banana.
