Anti-Inflammatory Chocolate Milk

Serves: 2


  • 2 cups coconut water
  • 2 tbs almond butter or peanut butter
  • 4 dates, pitted, or 1 tbs blackstrap molasses
  • 1 tbs unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1″ piece fresh ginger, peeled
  • 1″ piece fresh turmeric, peeled, (or 1/8-1/4 tsp dried turmeric)
  • 1 cup ice


  1. Place all ingredients in a high-powered blender and blend on high speed for 1-2 minutes, until smooth.

Variations & Notes:

  • If you prefer a thicker consistency, add in 1 frozen banana.
