Roasted Brussels Sprouts Ingredients:

1 1/2 pounds Brussels sprouts

3 tbs good olive oil

1/2 tsp kosher salt

1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
Roasted Brussels Sprouts Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
- Cut the brown ends off the Brussels sprouts and pull off any yellow leaves. Cut each sprout in half.
- Toss the Brussels sprouts with the olive oil and salt and pepper in a bowl (add other ingredients, depending on variation).
- Place on a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Spread out in one layer (be careful not to let them touch as they will steam instead of carmelize).
- Roast for 20-25 minutes, shaking the pan from time to time to ensure the sprouts roast evenly.
- Add flavoring (see Variations)
- Serve hot or at room temperature.
