Ingredients:
Almond Sauce #1:
- 1/4 cup creamy almond butter
- 3 tbs lime juice (optional)
- 2 tbs reduced-sodium tamari or soy sauce
- 1 tbs honey
- 2 tsp toasted sesame oil
- s cloves of garlic, minced
- pinch of red pepper flakes
- 1-2 tbs water, as needed
Almond Sauce #2 Ingredients:
- ½ cup creamy almond butter
- ¼ cup reduced-sodium tamari or soy sauce
- 3 tbs apple cider vinegar
- 2 tbs honey or maple syrup
- 1 tsp grated fresh ginger
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ tsp red pepper flakes
- 2 tbs water
Directions:
- Add all ingredients to a small food processor and pulse until well blended.
- Add in 1-2 tbs water (or more, if needed) to reach a thick but pourable consistency.
Variations & Notes:
- Store leftover sauce in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
