Ingredients:
Blueberry + Almond Butter:
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
- 2 T almond butter
- 2 tbs flaxseed
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
Blueberry + Nuts:
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
- 2 raw Brazil nuts (no more as they contain selenium and you don’t want to overdo it)
- 4 raw walnuts
- 4 oz non-GMO silken tofu
- 1/2 tsp lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- pinch of salt
- 1/4 cup of ice cubes
Directions:
- In a blender, combine all of the ingredients.
- Blend on high until smooth. If the smoothie is a little thick, add a little water or milk (whichever you are using).
Variations & Notes:
- Substitute the blueberries with strawberries for a strawberry smoothie.
