Ingredients:
- 12 La Favorita yellow corn tortillas
- 1 tsp salt, divided
- 1 1/2 tbs olive oil
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Brush olive oil on each tortilla and stack them on top of each other as you go (this adds olive oil to each side).
- Cut the tortillas (while still stacked) in fourths, then cut in fourths again.
- Place tortillas on 2 large baking sheets (you may need to place drying racks on top of one to create a second level, and accommodate all tortilla chips).
- Sprinkle 1/2 tsp salt over each sheet of tortillas (1 tsp total).
- Cook for 7 1/2 minutes. Turn the baking sheets and cook for 7 1/2 minutes more.
- Remove from the oven and let cool.
- Serve immediately or store in tightly sealed containers for up to 3 days.
